New training year at profine: 56 young professionals begin their apprenticeship
On September 1, 2025, a total of 56 young people began their apprenticeship at profine GmbH. Of these, 40 launched their careers at the company headquarters in Pirmasens, while 16 started at the Berlin site.
profine currently employs 156 trainees and students across Germany, with over 100 based at the company’s largest location in Pirmasens. This reflects the company's strong commitment to developing its own skilled workforce.
The new apprentices are spread across a dozen different vocational fields, ranging from traditional technical and commercial roles to careers in logistics and information technology. In addition, several new starters have opted for a dual study program leading to a bachelor’s degree.
The largest group among the new trainees is made up of future plastics and rubber technologists – the modern equivalent of the former profession of process mechanics.

With a trainee rate of around ten percent, profine GmbH underlines the high importance it places on internal talent development.
